Special 40" long bodied Powerstick for a '67 Corvette Stingray. 3.5" outer body diameter, large High-Flowing 2.5" Core flows WAAAY more cfm than the OEM type mufflers. Sound is super deep & awesome, minimal backrapping or popping. Add significant HP vs. stock.

NOTE: Overall length is approximate. Inlet / Outlet bushing lengths can vary some. Use the body length to determine what muffler will best fit your application. It may be necessary for an installer to shorten or lengthen the bushings, or modify the diameter for proper fit into your application. Powerstick bushings are expandable. An experienced exhaust installer will know how much the steel will stretch.

Sidepipe Insert Mufflers - popular on Corvettes & some Cobras. The expanded ends slip just inside a 4" OD sidepipe - slots cut into each end can be tweaked slightly in order to keep constant tension against the inside of the sidepipe during exhaust heating & cooling cycles. This eliminates rattling & loose fits. Now you can have the unique chambered sound & superior flow through your sidepipes. NOTE: 2.5" core versions are quieter than 3" core versions. *These can be made in different lengths as well - inquire.

OEM & Cobra Kit Car - High Flow Replacement Sidepipe Mufflers - Build Your Own:
You have limited choices in exhaust configuration for the Cobras, choose wisely!
There are 3 choices - decide what advantage is important to you.
1. You can be QUIET & lose major HP (stock).
2. You can be a little louder, sound great, be totally streetable, & gain MAJOR HP.
3. You can be downright aggressive loud, sound great, & gain MAJOR HP.
You can accomplish # 2 & 3 with Cobrapack Mufflers. #2 pertains to mufflers with packing. The longer they are, the quieter they will be. #3 pertains to those wanting raw, wicked V-8 sound. If you don't believe what advantage choosing the right mufflers can give you, see our PERFORMANCE page. Once you look at the charts, you'll think this is fantasy. If you don't believe the numbers, then Kinetic Racing Engines provided us with lies. The other option of course is to keep running your "stock" kit car mufflers, & scold your engine builder for coming up 100 HP short of what he promised you! Think about it, do you see any logic in running ANY V-8 through a 1-7/8" flowpath? That's the "Cobra-Killer." Now that you've seen the light, WELCOME ABOARD!

NOTE: COBRAPACKS are typically louder than stock mufflers, they may exceed legal noise levels where enforced. * 2-1/2" Versions are quieter than 3". Dyno results on 3" versions have shown gains of 100+ HP vs. stock mufflers at certain RPM ranges. See PERFORMANCE page for details.
COBRAPACKS require some fabrication of ends to install, and can be painted or powder coated.

Exhaust Accessories for Cobras:
- * 3.5" OD Aluminized Steel Mandrel-Bent Turndowns. (16-gauge, 12" long) *Cut to desired length & weld to muffler outlet. (Part #: 35-Tip)
- * 3.5" OD to 3" ID Reducer. Trim both ends to fit. Cut at the transition area to fit just inside 3.5" OD collectors, butt-weld the 3" ID end to the muffler inlet. The goal is to smoothly "funnel" exhaust into the COBRAPACK Muffler. (Part #: 3530-AD)
